BRANDCODE is a Drupal Certified Partner – If you’ve got it, you’ve got it!
The time has finally come: BRANDCODE is now an official Certified Partner of the Drupal Association. And to be honest — it was about time an agency from Munich followed suit! Whilst other cities have long been proudly flaunting their certification, we thought to ourselves: why not restore the balance in Germany and give the ‘capital of cosiness’ a Certified Partner too? Now the time has come, and we couldn’t be prouder!
What’s behind the Certified Partner programme?
The Drupal Certified Partner Programme was launched to recognise companies that don’t just talk, but take action — real ‘makers’, in other words. As a partner, you’re saying: “Hey, we’re not just standing on the sidelines clapping – we’re actively getting stuck in!” Whether that’s through code contributions, organising community events or supporting education and development programmes. The aim? To keep Drupal innovative, secure and scalable in the long term.
Of course, not everyone is allowed onto the pitch. To receive the certificate, you have to undergo a thorough review by the Drupal Association. Once a year, they assess who’s really making a difference — and who’s just watching from the sidelines.
Why is this important (and a bit cool)?
Open source is brilliant — but without a community, it would be nothing more than a nice idea. Dries Buytaert, the founder of Drupal, summed it up perfectly with his concept of ‘Makers and Takers’: the idea is that those who take should also give back. Sounds fair, doesn’t it? And that’s exactly what the partner programme is for: to ensure that the platform not only survives, but also grows and thrives.
So what does that mean in practice? For us, it means showing just how much Drupal means to us. For our clients, it means working with a partner who not only understands the technology but also looks after the platform’s foundations — so that their projects are built on a robust and future-proof system.
The strong Drupal community in Munich
Even the city’s official portal, muenchen.de, runs on Drupal. If that doesn’t show just how deeply rooted the platform is in our city, then what does? Let’s be honest: wasn’t Munich long overdue for this? As a pioneer in lifestyle, innovation and a flagship city for digital transformation, it was only a matter of time before the Drupal community in Munich gained greater recognition once again; and to achieve this, the city needs not only its many talented developers but also agencies that have a visible presence in the public eye. Here at BRANDCODE, we’re therefore extremely proud to have joined the ranks of Drupal Certified Partners.
And what does that mean for you?
For our clients, it means you’re working with a team that not only offers top-level expertise in Drupal but also has a genuine passion for the community. For us, it means we won’t rest on our laurels with this certification, but will continue to play an active part in strengthening Drupal — for the community, for our clients, and for the future.
You know where to find us — and if you fancy becoming part of this fantastic community, then come on board. Because: it’s even more fun together.
